Ciao, pasta Italiana, white peaks of Dolomites, bombardino, nice groomed slopes, Passo San Pellegrino, tuto bene pizza and 300 days of sunshine, this is the resort of Tre Valli, an amazing ski region in Italy.
I spent in this region nice two weaks, working as a ski instructor for hotel Sussi and I must say, that I remenisc about this ski resort a lot. Snow condition was perfect, weather even better and food, hmmm food was delicious. This is definitely a place that I would recommend everybody to go on winter holiday. And as I was told, in this region the weather is hardly bad, so google tent is almost garanteed.
Tre Valli include one hundred kilometers of groomed, mostly blue and red runs divided into two areas. The starting towns are Falcalde and Passo San Pelegrino that are connected with busses and one can ski from one town to another as well. The southern slopes of Passo San Pellegrino are very nice long blue and red slopes, convinient especialy for recreational skiers. On the opossite -northern site of the pass there are steeper red and black runs where the sporty skiers can enjoy themself. The dominant of this area is Col Margherita, 2513 meters high. One can get there with a big cable car from Passo San Pelegrino or with a system of chairlifts from Falcalde, it is an oasis for sporty skiers, view contemplaters and bombardino lovers.
The second ski area of Tre Valli is Alpe Lusia, conected with bus as well, which spreads out on the southern slopes above the village Bellamonte where one can find bunch of ultra blue and slightly red runs and as well famous Piavac black slope. This area is generally easy and so convinient for begginers and famillies with kids. Whole area is equiped with fast chair lifts and one can of course enjoy stunning panoramatical views .
