Solden, amazing ski experience guaranteed

One of the top ski resorts in Austria, perfect slopes of all levels, great snow condition from Octobre to April, Alpine ski world cup and plenty of après ski bars, restaurants and rustical huts that hartly welcome thirsty skiers, this is Solden, an amazing ski destination for a winter holiday.

I had the honor to visit this resort in spring 2014, when I was attending one of the ski courses for my next ski level and I was amazed by the overwhelming quality and variety of slopes.

The ski area is directly connected to the glacier and offers 145 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes that lead under three 3000 meters high mountains. All peaks are accessible by modern lifts and one can enjoy there breath taking views from hanging platforms.

For beginners and intermidiates are prepared tens of kilometers of blue and red slopes in Innerwald and at Giggijoch, and at Gaislachkogel there are challangig black slopes for advanced skiiers and variety of free ride runs for off piste lovers. The altitude of the area promises deep snow and a couple of beaten path runs. It is a paradise for off piste riders. All slopes are practically above the tree-line, so the resort boast of breath taking views. Solden is convenient for all kind of level skiers and snowboarders.

For those who want to learn to snowboard or to ski there is a big variety of ski schools. I would recommend you a ski school of one of my trainers, Snow lines, a small international private ski school with a professional service. The ski instructors are not only amazing skiers and snowboarders, they are as well encouraging instructors with patience. Ski lesson can be hold in English, German, French or Russian. Although Snowlines is a small ski school the progress of the clients is great. Learn to ski or snowboard with Snowlines and you won’t regret it.

Solden is a perfect destination for winter holiday, where one can spend days of exploring a vast ski area. This resort definitely deserves all 5 points of 5.
