Budget tips for travelling in Thailand

Thousand of tourists lead to Thailand every year in order to spend an amazing holiday time. And as the locals are getting used to the crowds of western invaders the prices rise up. Thailand is still very cheap country where one can live of a daily budget of 15 - 20 $, but if you want to visit this country on this budget you should pay special attention to where to eat, sleep and a way of transport. Check the following list and make your travel cheaper.
Budget tips:
North is much cheaper then South, the prices on the islands are much higher, especialy during the high season.
Travel in low season.
Bargain, bargain and bargain, especialy while buying suveniers.
Find a travel buddy and sleep together in huts on the beach or in double rooms.
Use public transport.
Travel with train.
If you go on a tour, check more travel agencies, not only one. The agancies on the main streets are usually more expensive then those around the corner just 100 meters away.
Eat in the street stalls and on markets.
Avoid western food and eat the local food, curries and pad thai are delicious.
Bargain with tuk- tuk drivers.
Walk, it's for free and you will get to know the are better.
Rent a motorbike, it's just 5-7$ a day and gas is1$/liter, it's reeal fun
