Prague is one of the cheapest metropoles in Europe, this amazing city is not only famous for it's stunning monuments but as well for it's good beer and tasty food. But this city can be expensive too if you don't know the typical tourist traps. Not to worry, I will tell you all the tips on how to keep your money in the right place; your wallet.
Budget tips:
Use public transport, 24 hrs ticket costs 110 crowns (4€) and 72 hrs ticket 320 crowns (11€).
The cheapest taxi +420 226 000 226 they speak only czech so you need to convice somebody to call for you :-)
Don't exchange money on the street, it's a SCAM. They will give you money from Belarus which valid nada.
Before you exchange money in the exchange check how much money you will realy get, because they have ususally two exchange rates and the better you get only if you exchange 1000 € or some ridiculous amount of money and if you exchange only small amount of money they will rip you of!
The best exchanges are in Opletalova street- EuroChange and in Kaprova street - Exchange
For lunch eat daily menu usually served from 11:00 - 14:00, there is usually a variety of 3-5 meals, it costs around 100 Crowns (4€).
